Adapteva starts shipping its Parallella ARM-based supercomputer boards

Parallella is starting to ship their ARM+Accelerator boards for the first funders. Each board comes with one ARM core and either 16 or 64 accelerator cores, for $99 (16-core version) or $199, for the 64 cores. Each board can be connected to others to form a very cheap supercomputer.

Not to mention, open source and 2 orders of magnitude cheaper than Intel’s Knight’s Corner platform.
