PCWorld, the last US computer magazine, is no more

The last US printed computer magazine is ceasing publication. Long gone are the days when those were the best place to find good information, crazy deals from tiny manufacturers, and some nice ads.

All is gone, in favor of crappy reviews and suited to the mainstream public, who never read those magazines in the first place.

In this picture, Bill Gates talks to PCWorld staff about ms-dos 2 (the one, you know, that was a crappy copy of unix, for the launch of the PC-XT. It even had folders!) Source: Time
